HOSPITAL AND NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR - $90,000/yr (BOE) Brown County

Description: Performs administrative and management functions to coordinate programs and services within the Community Treatment Center residential units of the Human Services Department. The work is performed under the direction of the Human Services Executive Director.

Requirements: Directs the daily operations of the Brown County Community Treatment Center residential programs, including the acute psychiatric hospital (Nicolet Psychiatric Center), a nursing home (Bayshore Village) and a crisis stabilization unit (Bay Haven CBRF). Ensures the facility complies with state and federal licensing requirements and regulations. Participates in the planning, organization and development of a comprehensive system of care for individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders. Facilitates the establishment of a clear vision and mission, and clear goals, objectives and performance measures for assigned programs and services. Assists in creating and maintaining a positive, rewarding work environment that capitalizes on the commitment and talents of the department’s personnel. Implements and monitors the effectiveness for the Inpatient Services Units, continuously looking for ways of improving operations and program effectiveness, and initiates needed changes and improvements. Participates in the implementation of system change technology with clinical practice technology at the program level, clinical practice level, and clinician competency level to create comprehensive system change. Incorporates evidence-based and clinical consensus best practices for the treatment of all types of individuals served by the units. Implements principles of successful treatment intervention that are derived from available research and incorporated into an integrated treatment philosophy that utilizes a common language that makes sense for consumers, staff and family members. Uses program and staff competency tools for the development and implementation of dual diagnosis capacity, skilled nursing care, and developmental programming for the specific units. Uses practice guidelines that address assessment, treatment intervention, rehabilitation, program matching, psychopharmacology, and outcomes. Participates in the establishment of universal screening for co-occurring and other mental health disorders at initial contact throughout the system. Selects, assigns, trains, and evaluates subordinate unit coordinators and supervisors. Creates the expectation of universal competency, including attitudes and values, as well as knowledge and skill. Works on developing competencies in existing policies and job descriptions, to incorporate them into personnel evaluation, credentialing, and to measure or monitor clinician attainment of competency. Participates in the development and implementation of evidence-based practices, performance and quality improvement initiatives, and compliance and accreditation activities. Maintains awareness of federal, state and county laws and regulations, local requirements, and policy impacting funding and service delivery. Completes required state and federal reports with regards to departmental activities and funding; develops policies to address revised program expectations. Responsible for development of policy, monitoring and reporting on various complaints; responds to client, EEOC and related complaints according to state and federal standards. Participates in the annual departmental budget process including presentations at Boards and Committees as needed; make funding level recommendations. Monitors expenditures to stay within budget and comply with the County budget process expectations. Participates in various county and state committees, workgroups, commissions and planning sessions. Confers with colleagues in other County departments and agencies, and in organizations outside of the County (including community non-profit organizations) to maximize cooperation in areas of joint involvement, and to create partnerships among clients, families, staff and other public agency and private sector resources. Performs related functions as assigned by the Human Services Executive Director.

Skills: Must have successful leadership experience in a health care setting that included inpatient services or skilled nursing services. Management experience in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders is required, with an appropriate combination of training, education and career history that would provide the necessary knowledge and skills to lead a psychiatric hospital and nursing home to standards of excellence. Typical combinations would be: • A bachelor’s degree (masters preferred) in business or health care administration and five years of progressive management experience in behavioral health and/or rehabilitation services. • A bachelor of nursing degree (masters preferred) and five years of progressive management experience in behavioral health and/or rehabilitation services. • A master of social work degree or similar degree and five years of progressive management experience in behavioral health and/or rehabilitation services. • Other similar combinations of education, training and experience. Description: Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture part(s) to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction. The Welder needs knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. The Welder needs knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. The Welder needs to have the ability to manage the time used on each job. The Welder needs to be able to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions. Also must have the ability to quickly move the hand and arm in various motions to grasp, manipulate, or assemble parts. This position requires precise coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble small parts. The Welder needs to be able to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. This does not mean they need to solve the problem as that might be the responsibility of the Shop Foreman or Shop Supervisor. The Welder must observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources before starting a project.

Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machine tools. Water Jet Operator - De Pere

Description: A Waterjet Operator is responsible for the preparation and manufacturing of parts and components on a Flow waterjet including not only full operation of the waterjet but also maintenance. Reading and accurate interpretation of all engineering drawings is another requirement of this position to include the ability to recognize and determine when material might be needed for clean-up stock necessary in later machining operations. Operator must also be able to create programs if and when necessary as well as convert .iges and .dxf files to ORD files needed for running machine. All files must be electronically saved in accordance with Bayside Machine’s file saving protocol.

Requirements: Report to an immediate supervisor any production problem caused by an incorrect manufacturing process or programming procedure as well as any tooling problems. He/she is also required to check other ORD files as needed for programming accuracy as well as utilizing standard procedures prior to a new or revised program being released to the shop floor. A waterjet operator must also be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing requirements. Must understand wire frame drawings and how to make ORD files from them. Clean, debur, tap, and rust proof parts. Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) on all parts. Keep work area and ground clean. Know how to properly operate overhead cranes. Adhere to safety practice standards set forth by company and OSHA policies to include proper safety equipment and attire such as safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection. Must run machine with pierce deflector on at all times. Check bag weekly for water and drainage. Stack all plates in correct locations. Cut skeletons up while in machine. Quality Inspector - De Pere

Description: The Quality Inspector is responsible for completing a thorough final inspection of parts prior to them shipping to our customers. The Quality Inspector must be extremely detail oriented and process oriented.

Requirements: Inspects metallic and nonmetallic parts for quality and specifications. 2. Reads and interprets inspection manuals, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine inspection method, procedures and allowable tolerances. 3. Examines parts for defects such as: cracks, finishes, stress, and fatigue marks. 4. Measures dimensions, contours, trim lines, angles, and coordination of parts for conformance to blueprints and specifications, using precision measuring instruments and devices. For example, surface plate, surface table, micrometers, calipers, and contour templates. 5. Calculates allowable dimensional deviations and utilizes knowledge of shop math. 6. Verifies configuration of component parts and location of fastener holes, using check fixtures and measuring instruments. Inspects welding, heat treating, bonding, brazing, and machining of parts for conformance to specifications. 7. Observes or conducts testing of parts to ensure that functional performance and physical characteristics conform to fabrication standards and specifications, using testing and measuring equipment. 8. Accepts or rejects parts and records inspection results. 9. Discusses inspection and test results with quality assurance, production, and engineering personnel. May also review inspection results prepared by other inspectors. 10. Description: Our company is seeking an Administrative Assistant to manage the office, supervise staff and handle duties for management.
